Consultation, Deposit & Cancellation Policy

One month advance booking

We book events at least one month in advance. Online booking opens November 1, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2028 — the rest of September and all of October are unavailable. We are also not taking bookings on Halloween (October 31), or on these dates each year: January 2, March 29, July 11, August 19, and October 24.

Phone consultation

We will conduct this consultation via phone call at your scheduled time.

Consultation fee — $25

A $25 consultation fee is due at the time you book your consultation. If you move forward with an event, this fee is applied toward your final event total.

Deposit & signed contract

A 25% deposit of the total event cost is required at booking to secure your date (applied toward your final total). Once your deposit is paid and your event is booked, we will email your contract to the address you provided. Please sign and return it to us no later than two days after booking so your date stays reserved.

Cancellation policy

The deposit is fully refundable if canceled 7 to 14 days before the event, but non-refundable for cancellations made less than 7 days prior.

Weekend events & Saturday consultations

We set up events on weekends, so Saturday and Sunday event dates are available for booking online — they are secured with a 25% deposit, and the remaining balance is due before your event. Phone consultations are not available on Saturdays — Samantha is out setting up events — so online booking is the only way to reach us on a Saturday, and it is always open.
